Dr. Mancusi has trained hundreds of hospital directors and medical center Presidents and has conducted in-hospital training for over 5,000 employees at dozens of hospitals nationwide. He has spoken at national and regional meetings for physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, psychologists, cardiologists, renal dialysis specialists and chief dietitians.
Dr. Joseph Mancusi has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Duke University. As a medical and clinical psychologist helped develop some of the first cardiac and lung rehabilitation programs in the country. He was featured in a series of training films used in Tennessee targeted towards nurses, intensive care unit personnel, emergency room staff and ambulance drives.
He served on the faculty of medical and graduate schools in Tennessee, Virginia and Washington DC. he consulted on a national commission to plan for the management needs of the Veterans Administration system.
The American Psychological Association recommends Dr. Mancusi as a subject matte expert on psychological aspects of stress, veterans’ issues and business concerns.
